Melissa Dacunha, P.A.

Ms. Dacunha is a Brazilian-born attorney educated in the United States and licensed to practice law in the state of Florida . She has held her license as a member of the Florida Bar since November 2004. She speaks English, Portuguese & Spanish fluently. Ms. Dacunha was born and raised in Brazil and moved to the USA in her early teenage years. Ms. Dacunha holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from the University of Georgia , in Athens , GA and a Juris Doctorate degree from Georgia State University , in Atlanta , GA.

Ms. Dacunha is passionate about the practice of law and in advocating for her clients. She has zealously advocated for her clients since 2005 and has gained valuable legal experience in doing so. Her experiences range from advising clients on the complexities of the American immigration law system to helping families, individuals and businesses solve their problems by advising them in taking steps to prevent litigation, by filing a lawsuit or defending a lawsuit.

Ms. Dacunha is a member of the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association. She also participates in the Miami-Dade County Bar Association’s Put Something Back pro bono project.
